Travel Information

  • Drive - A large car park is available just next to Calderglen Country Park. The park is well-signposted from the A726.
  • Walk - It's easiest to enter Calderglen Park from Strathaven Road - the A726 - or Newhousemill Road.
  • Rail - The nearest station is several miles away, in East Kilbride, so we wouldn't recommend travelling by train.


Please note that buses are not obliged to accept non-service dogs. For that reason we haven’t included bus routes.

Our review

Calderglen Park is a large, beautiful country park that’s located just past East Kilbride. The park is great for all kinds of dog walkers, but is especially well-suited to families with dogs.

Calderglen Country Park comprises everything from woodland walks with streams and waterfalls, to rolling countryside.
