Travel Information

Drive - Palacerigg Country Park is located close to Lenziemill Road. There's a large, free car park just next to the park.


The nearest railway station is several miles away in Cumbernauld, so you'll need to take a taxi. Please be aware that not all taxis accept dogs, therefore we wouldn't recommend this form of travel.

Palacerigg Country Park is a great park for long dog walks and is located approximately 10 miles outside of Glasgow, near Cumbernauld.

Palacerigg Country Park is good for trail walking and is best suited to people who like to don their wellies for a dog walk. The park may not appeal to dog walkers who need to walk with a pram, or have mobility issues.
